How the Snohomish Guide Works
Finding a dependable record depends on the stage of a case. The Snohomish County Jail Register is the official current-custody starting point and identifies the housing facility in its combined county, Lynnwood, and Marysville results. Court information is a separate question after booking, and a qualifying jail-record request follows the County’s requesting jail records route.
Washington’s open-register rule in RCW 70.48.100 does not make every inmate-file item public. It distinguishes the public register from other confidential confined-person records. This site brings those official paths together and does not republish jail records, court records, booking photos, or arrest photos.
Resources Covered Here
The site is designed as a records-navigation guide, not a replacement for a public office. Its pages explain:
- how to use the County’s current-custody register and identify the correct housing facility;
- where to begin a later-case search through Snohomish criminal case information;
- how Washington’s public-records framework, including chapter 42.56 RCW, works alongside jail-record confidentiality limits;
- the separate paths for county custody, Washington Department of Corrections records, and federal or immigration locators; and
- why a booking entry is an allegation, not proof of guilt, and why a court record is needed to confirm what happened later.
What This Private Site Cannot Do
Snohomish County Busted Mugshots is independently operated and has no affiliation with a Washington government agency, sheriff’s office, jail, corrections department, or court. It cannot release, hold, transfer, or locate a person; confirm present custody or release details; file a record request; post bond; arrange a visit; send funds; or provide legal advice.
- It cannot make an official determination about charges, bail, or release.
- It cannot guarantee that a public-office phone number, address, fee, or web tool has not changed.
- It cannot obtain restricted inmate material, including a booking photo, for a visitor.
Custody status, a charge description, and a release decision can change quickly. Only the responsible public office’s own record can provide an official answer.
Search Partners
Some pages include search tools operated by third parties, which set their own terms, prices, and result standards. If a partner tool leads to a paid enrollment, this site may receive a referral fee that helps support the guide. That relationship does not give this site control over a partner’s results, pricing, or handling of submitted information.
